Gone, but not forgotten!

Squeaker- Our first guinea pig. Nov. 1999- Dec. 2005

Squeaker was the pig who started it all!  When we fell in love wtih him at the pet store, we had no idea that we would become so involved with cavies.  Squeaker did everything that the book say guinea pigs don't do.  He also had many outdoor adventures because he was an expert at escaping from his pen in the grass.  Squeaker loved ice cream.  He was the most mischevious cavy I have ever met. 

Peter- the prodigal piggie

Peter was an awesome TSW Teddy Satin Boar.  He was from one of my first Teddy Satin litters.  When he was a baby I did not realize his potential and I sold him.  He won many titles and show legs.  I saw him at a show last year and his owner was kind enough to sell him back to me because she was done breeding him.  Since then I was able to breed him to a few of my sows.  Luckily, I kept one of his sons so I will be able to carry on his lines.  Peter will be missed!

Puddles was my mischevious little angel.  He brought me much joy and a few awesome show babies in his short little life.  I will miss him very, very much!!!

Rusty- Red Sr. Teddy (1 show leg)-Best of Breed 2/11/06

Rusty was last red Teddy Satin.  He was a sweetie and the father of many of my roan and self litters.  Rusty died suddenly of an unknown cause.  He was a special and irreplaceable part of my breeding program.

Carly- The perfect friend!    Oct. 19th 2002- Nov. 9th 2006

Carly was perfect in every way.  I could not say enough good things about this cavy.  She was gentle, loving, obedient, and intelligent.  She has helped me achieve my goals in 4-H.  Without Carly, I would not be where I am today with cavies.  She will not be forgotten!

Tasha- The light-bulb piggie!  Tasha was a beautiful Red Teddy Satin sow, nicknamed "light-bulb piggie" because of her excellent sheen.  She exeeded every expectation I had for her, winning 4 Best of Breed titles in her short little life.  Sadly, Tasha died of pregnancy toxemia before delivering her first liter.

Rahab- Rahab was my first broken color sow.  She was a big sweetheart and the foundation of my broken Teddy Satin breeding program.  Rahab was often my foster mother for litters whose own mothers had health difficulties.  Rahab is greatly missed in my caviary!

Bridgette- Bridgette was an extremely laid back TSW Teddy.  I purchased her as and adult and she was a part of my caviary for three years before she passed away.   She was a good mother and a wonderful companion. 

Savannah- she was one of the old timers at our house.  Savannah was a sweet, patient TSW teddy who filled the role of substitute showmanship piggie and extremely loved pet!
